The Planning Dossier

What it costs, where to go, and what nobody tells you.

Eight pages, drawn from the programmes we have actually quoted and booked this year — the price ladder, three real programmes at the hospitals' own rates, a worked one-day example, and the practical half of the trip.

Cover of the China Medical Checkup Planning Dossier 2026

Inside

  • What a checkup in China actually costs — the three tiers, and single-procedure prices
  • Why we do not mark up the medicine, and what that changes
  • Shanghai, Beijing, Hainan, Chengdu — what each city is for
  • Three real programmes, ¥13,200 to ¥19,800, itemised
  • A worked example: one Saturday in Shanghai, three ways
  • Visa, driver, flights, fasting, timings, and what arrives afterwards

We use your email to follow up once about planning a checkup, and for nothing else — no mailing list. Privacy.

Why the prices in it are real

Every figure in the dossier is a hospital's own published rate, as quoted to clients in July and August 2026. We do not add a margin to the medicine and we cannot discount it — you pay the hospital directly. That is why the dossier can tell you when the cheaper programme is the better medicine, which it does more than once.

Partner hospitals are not named in the dossier. We will name them for you once we know which city and which programme you are choosing.
